Lviv Jews honored the memory of those who perished during the Holocaust
There was held a number of events on the International Holocaust Remebrance Day in Lviv.
The most massive event was a rally in memory of the victims of the Lviv Ghetto and Yanovskoy concentration camp. The events were attended by the Deputy Mayor of Lviv, Andrei Moskalenko, and the head of the Department for Culture, Nationalities and Religions of Lviv Regional State Administration, Lesya Kornat, as well as, leaders and activists of the Lviv Jewish community.
After the meeting in the Honorary Consulate of Israel in Lviv, there was held a round table on the topic “Do we need to remember the Holocaust nowadays?”.
LVC Volunteers actively participated in the discussion in which they shared memory preservation practices.
